If so the old duopoly is back in business and we're scrabbling for a distant 3rd at best.
    Correct.

Because make no mistake the winner of the scum v Maribor game are likely to be facing Progres of Luxembourg who lost 2-1 away to UFA of Russia.
Either way, clear favourites to get to the group stages.
Quite incredible the luck the scum have had in the draw.

And winning tonight with an offside goal.

            • Maybe Stevie G will appeal against the Maribor goal. Oh hud on, it no' the Strathclyde Football Association he would be appealing to.

              • The scum re-take the lead.
A dive to get a penalty, and that coming from that Hun f**k Chick Dung.

                So that’s a 2-1 lead with an offside goal & a penalty that wasn’t.

                • Is that 4 or 5 pens Sevco have had this season already?

Completely agree. They would get about £3M for qualifying plus £500K for each win or £150K for each draw plus give or take £1M per home game so another £3M plus £1M if they win their group (stop sniggering) or £500K if they were runners up.

All in all, we badly need a second away goal from Maribor

                      • So the Huns' third goal is a handball.

I'm sure Progres Niederkorn will put them out again if they get past Ufa.

Not a ****ing chance. If Sevco get past this round, they are in the group stages. Bemoan their easy draw if we want, but we couldn’t get past Maribor.

Ambition (and high spending admittedly) v something we’ve been chasing for for the past few years. I hate Sevco with a humongous passion, but by ****, they outsmart our tinpot mentality. Well wiggy, you wanted a strong Rangers, you have helped create one because of your biscuit tin mentality.

If the scum beat Maribor, which they will, they’ll be strong favourites to beat either team.
It also helps when your 3 goals are
                                1) offside
                                2) a dive & not a penalty
                                3) handball.

The amount of luck they’ve had in Europe, with dodgy pens & goals, as well as the draws, has been laughable.
