Anent the question of Sevco’s competitiveness and the Scottish League, I was recently in Berlin where I snapped the following picture on an underground train. Billy Boy is a popular brand of condom in Germany and the slogan means ‘don’t come up short again’. I suspect the possibility of marketing the brand in Scotland has been considered but disregarded on the grounds that the average Sevco supporter’s personality is the only contraception he or she requires.
