      • Noticed the finger pointing has started already. They still go mental about that song we sing that nobody knows the words to, but every single one of them hear it, even though it’s never been recorded, despite them all having the ability to do so on their phones.

Does anyone remember the version that used to be sung? Sure it went to the tune of ‘An English Country Garden’

          • Senile old Hun c*nt thinks we up our game against Rangers....

Graham Roberts has pinpointed the Aberdeen games as potentially proving decisive in Rangers’ hopes of landing the title.

The former Ibrox defender has accused the Dons of "rolling over" against Celtic while playing to their maximum against the Hoops’ Glasgow rivals.

Rangers and Aberdeen met seven times last season, with Steven Gerrard’s side winning only twice.

And Roberts – who starred for the Light Blues for two years from 1986 – insists that has to change.

The 60-year-old told talkSPORT: "Steven Gerrard has done an amazing job. He has turned the club around.

Graham Roberts wearing goalkeeper’s jersey in October 1987
"But the games they struggle in is when they go to Aberdeen. They have to win those games because when Celtic go there, Aberdeen roll over and let them win.

"They do roll over for Celtic.

"The difference at Ibrox for Old Firm games is there is now only 800 Celtic fans. This gives them a big chance of winning. They did so twice last season.

"Listen, I know what it’s like to play in front of them (Celtic fans). I once played in goal and did the flute band."

Roberts has been impressed with Gerrard, whose side remain unbeaten in all 11 games this season.

He believes it’s the Scouser’s destiny to eventually take charge of Liverpool and insists he was right to snub a reported offer from Newcastle.

              • Roberts isnt to far off the mark

We dont roll over as such. We just have an ingrained mental issue when it comes to playing the pigs. Our recent record is f@cking diabolical

He's suggesting we let celtic win but try harder against rangers though. That's just nonsense on stilts.

Our mental blocker against the pigs does pretty much let them win. They just need to turn up and we very rarely put up a fight. Its true

Against the huns we are better so it does infact look like we raise our game. We just dont have the fear against them. Thats the difference. This is whwre McInnes fails. It falls on his doorstep that he cant motivate his players to be up for the pigs

I wouldnt rule out a glasgow whitewash this season. Then roberts can shut his fat puss

                    • You could argue celtic up there game when they play us. It definitely seems that way.

                      Swings and roundabouts.

                      • I think it’s two fold; We do have a mental issue when it comes to the pigs, but The Rangers 2012 have always been utter ****e by comparison to the plastics. Hardly ****ing rocket science that we’d do better against them. Roberts is just a halfwit who needs to ingratiate himself with their muppet support as to not be completely consigned to hun oblivion.

                          • Furthermore, every single person I have ever met/known with the surname 'Roberts' ( and I include that wonderful drummer who played for UK Subs, Cyanide, and The Exploited ) has turned out to be an arsehole!

I agree wi' Gogs Strach ... genetics

I've been at every home game & I've seen us beat them once at home since the tribute act arrived in the top flight - and even then we were lucky that day - aye we fair raise our game though.

The good thing about this is we clearly still fair get on Sevconian tits - long may that continue.

                              Graham who by the way?

What I meant was overall we have beat sevco more in the last three seasons than the pigs. We are pathetic home and away and regularly get skelped by the pigs conceeding a lot of f@cking goals in that same time. We are nowhere near as bad against sevco.
