Walter Mittyesque as perOriginally posted by RED_JOHN View PostSmall time mentality.
We certainly don’t need Celtic and Rangers playing each other at least 4 times in a season so they can get publicity to help their agendas. We need more teams in the league so other clubs can grow if they are ambitious enough. Who honestly wants to play the big 2 Glasgow teams eight times minimum in a season? Greedy small time mentality chairman might but they are not interested in the benefit of football and coaching. Celtic are easily winning league titles because of this...we need teams especially like ourselves to be in with a fighting chance to make the league more interesting. Everything about Scottish football should be about all teams not 2 bigoted @rseholes from Glasgow. Give me an away trip to Kirkcaldy or Alloa to help these clubs than further boost the bank balance of Celtic or Rangers.
We would definitely have a better chance of winning a league if we only had to play Celtic twice in a league campaign.

Whilst I agree with them that the SPFL is somewhat dodgy they only have the likes of themselves to blame. Scottish football for too long in its history has pandered to teams from Glasgow with anyone else just a side show. The whole system is flawed from top to bottom. Our previous chairman couldn’t bring himself to want change the last real chance we had so the club from Glasgow with the most cash got even stronger.
If we want change we need a totally different approach and a voting structure that is very well balanced. We need chairmanship from clubs that are a hell of a lot stronger than the past history has shown. Our own club have a new chairman and I for one hope he won’t tolerate the current nonsense that our country serves up. A different approach to the politics of Scottish football is badly needed or we just continue as the current imbeciles we are.

I get your point but there are enough teams with real supporters to thrive without those w@nkers.Originally posted by InversneckieDob View PostIt would be worth Scottish Football completely dying if it meant the death of the cheeks.
Horrible
You only have to look at the effect the original Rangers dying had on attendances at most other clubs.
A competitive league where everyone thinks they have a real chance of success brings the crowds in.
I wish the cheeks would phuck off elsewhere or die and let the rest of us have an unbiased, sectarian free, family friendly league where Scottish players can thrive.
