Happy for them to help us get Europe but not happy for them to help us stay in Europe??
In the unique circumstance as eluded to, one did/does not preclude the other.

Have you read up how the co-efficient work?
You only take the country co-efficient if your individual club co-efficient is lower than the countries.
Our co-efficient is higher than the countries, so we won’t benefit.

The difference is if we get to a country ranking of 15 or higher, Scotland gets 2 CL places and the EL entrants will go into EL1 in 2021 as opposed to EL2 for countries 16+

      • Thing is, the benefit we gain from the filth upping our coefficient is negligible compared to how we are disadvantaged by them earning big money in Europe. Yes, we get a wee cut, but it's a WEE cut compared to what the filth end up wi ... and as we are already massively outspent, it's meaningless .... an insult ... nae worth drappin' oor collective draars for except if it helps us keep ahead o' Killie and St Johnstone.

Actually I'm looking at it from where we would enter, if scotland were to move up 2 places to 17 (there on 1.5pts in it) then where we would enter changes.
2nd place starts in Q2 and cup winners start in Q3
Scotland ranked 15 puts both of them into Q3 and the 3rd place team into Q2.

If we want an easier run then raising the county coefficient should matter.

If we have learned anything in our last 6 years of European football, it’s that we need the early rounds to help get up to speed.’starting later increases the chance w4 are not match ready.
I’d rather play QR1 against a weaker team so we’re better prepared for the harder Q3 and Q4 rounds.

Of course, once we have enough co-efficient points to be seeded ourselves in QR3 then it will help

I wanted Hearts to win the SC to stop the treble treble as its f@cking embarrassing for our game

I also always want the pigs and sevco to lose in Europe. C@nts

I certainly wasn't creaming myself like some but I didn't want Hearts to win either, purely because we should have won it at some point in the last few years. Hearts appearing from almost obliteration and winning it before us would have been embarrassing. Celtic winning the treble treble is embarrassing as well though. There was never going to be a happy outcome.

As far as Celtic and Sevco getting into the group stages go then **** that. They'll get even more money and the gap gets bigger and bigger until we can sort things out at home. I could never ever want them to win.

Would have been better off re signing him instead of Wilson.

                            • Great away win for United and by extension North East regional football. Their start to the season is certainly justifying their 'favourites for promotion' tag.

As an extra. Are Thistle ever going to erect a stand behind that goal or do they reckon their current capacity is enough?
