If memory serve's did there not used to be a Highland league thread on here ? I did have a wee look but couldna find such a thread. Reason was I wanted to ask if anyone else had seen that BBC Scotland documentary " Fight at the Fort" I found it quite entertaining and annoying at the same time. Looked to me like the locals/indigenous folk wanted nothing to do with them. Given it seemed to be a " White settlers" club from top to bottom but I did feel sorry for them the way they were treated by the Highland League Management. Worth a watch though.

In his column today, commenting on tomorrow’s VARgone conclusion, Aberdeen FC is described as “they”, “”their”, and “them”.Originally posted by 57vintage View PostRichard Gordon, in his Pudenda & Jacksie column referring to the Industrial Estate Huncuunts AGAIN as “we”.

It saddens me how many toonsers have adopted them. Since the Inverness and Nairn Enterprise-franchised Masons and Elgin left, there is no team that has played in the Highland League which has been despised so much. In the same way as they treated the junior league, it was obvious that the competition was a mere hindrance to them on their way into the big boys’ league. I used to love beating the w@nkers, especially on the pool table-sized dangerous midden they had as a home ground. I hope they lose every week.Originally posted by InversneckieDob View PostThis marketing of Sevcove as the cuddly toy/second team of everyone biding in an AB postcode is irksome in the extreme.
Raith 13/10 today, get lumped on.

Of course, having no interest in the Highland league, they've never really been on my radar at all.
They were still amateur when I was playing weren't they so I suppose Theos could have been drawn against them in some cup competition.
Unless of course I am wrong and they were juniors.
I never give them a second thought, rangers, blue, not a chance I would ever want them to win.

They joined the juniors from the amateur leagues, and stayed there for A SINGLE SEASON, treating that level with the same contempt as they were to show for the Highland League, which they joined without a guilty thought.Originally posted by donsdaft View PostOf course, having no interest in the Highland league, they've never really been on my radar at all.

Had we drawn them it most certainly would not be a local derby. God the thought of that makes me feel sick. Suppose the real derby would be Torryloon taking them on himsel.Originally posted by donsdaft View PostYes, I thought they were amateurs.
Pity we never drew them , we'd have gubbed them.
