  • Just seen the penalty not given to Hearts.

We may as well not bother playing if that's the marker being set already.

    • Would definitely have been a penalty at the other end.

      • I know I'm being naive but if refs stop giving pens for all such "handball" incidents then the game will be so much better as its ridiculous giving teams a 90% likely goal for incidents like that. I won't hold my breath though for the first time the ball hits Nicky Devlin's hand in a similar incident.

          • No doubt Michael Stewart will be getting hounded by the Huns for his radio take on Cantwell wanting away and saying something like if he was a good guy dressing room would want him, but if he was a bit of a prick then get rid
Cue mass apologies for language used in the pre- match build up🤣

I heard that. I assume Stewart will be off air for the foreseeable now.

              • He should never have been employed by BBC Scotland after that outrageous dive at Tynecastle which the linesman fortunately picked up and avoided a penalty and Clango being sent off.

I do like his forthrightness as a commentator though. He never shies away from giving the Manky Twins twice nine.

                • Enjoyable Dee derby (2-2) proper hurly burly Scottish fitba although VAR still took too long.
Just a relief to watch a Scottish game on Sky (illegally) without that Hun commentator Crocker and his rehearsed lines.

Both sides looked dangerous going forward but toffee at the back. Strange cos that’s an easy fix apparently…

The monotony of the Scottish game has already re-commenced though - Septic two up at half-time with over 82% possession and the dirtier cheek of the two already crumbling into financial oblivion, AGAIN.

I actually saw a bit of the Hearts game yesterday, I suspect through the same medium as you, and the dirtier of the cheeks looked absolute cr ap - let’s hope that everyone realises that and has a go at them this season, otherwise the finishing positions are alas entirely predictable.

                        • I really don't know why fans bother going to games in this country, Apart from the game being as bent as a 3 pound note, we have the most predictable league in the world and the standard of football has never been lower. So what's the point.

Good points but as my wife points out I still go every chance I get for some strange reason!?

If you are a fitba supporter you would never ask such a stupid question.

Exactly...has that poster ever posted a positive comment? He will be so disappointed if there isn't a terrorist attack in the next week in Paris.
