It was a good finish from Shankland to be fair but it wasn’t a great bit of play to set him up.

Longball upfront and the Hibs defender made a complete fvck up of it and missed the ball which Shankland punished him for.

Other than the goal the quality was poor,two teams who struggled to string two passes together and up to the 75-80 minute mark the only shot on target was a missed penalty.

No chance, it's Beaton. The BitB had obviously decided that they had to give one to stop the record and only gave one when the hun were 2 up and they had plenty time to swick the game back the hun way, if necessary.
They can now have another couple of years without having to award a pen against them again

They will slide down the table as soon as rangers decide to take shankland Hearts are a yo yo club, also they are not a big club. Below both halfs of the new firm in terms of European campaigns. Aberdeen won the European cup winners cup and euro super shield. Dundee United got to the European cup semi final (Roma Ref bribe) and a uefa cup final.

Below them would be euro semi finalists Dundee, and perhaps Hibs. Then there is useless hearts languishing in 7th place.
