After sightseeing in the great city that is Vienna(stunning) i went to the fitba at the legendary Ernst Happel. Great stadium, sh@te game. Made worse by the fact my android phone started updating itself the died of battery. So i have no photos of the inside. But its a great ground and seems huge. Loved it

Ended up in the AEK march pre game which was awesome. Singings over rated. Chanting is the way forward. It was superb

Rapid Vienna 2-2 Mattersburg

Final game of the december campaign. Good way to finish. The best home fans ive seen in my travels.Noisy for 90 even when 2 down. Like a flare too.

The stadium is located f@cking miles away, almost 5 from the city. Its riddiculous to be honest and im sure the crowd suffered because of it. The safe standing end behind the goal was ace. What an atmosphere that came from there. I noticed the away end is safe standing too for all 10 Mattersburg fans

The game was looking to be a shock when Mattersburg went up 1 then 2 nil. But Rapid bombarded them constantly and a goal was always coming. Two came and 2-2 was final. Very good game for a neutral

One complaint barring the f@cking distance to the ground, when you buy a beer you buy the cup too. 4,20 euros for the beer so i got a cash card for 10 euros so pint a pre game and HT. Turns out the cup was 1 euro. I dont want a cup. I just want whats in it
