I'd be thinking I need to leave Liverpool because surely Klopp will now buy a top keeper because as thebeachend says above he boobed big style by not buying one in the last two seasons. Imagine that team with De Gea in itOriginally posted by fairliered View PostIf you were Danny Ward would you be upset for your fellow goalkeeper or thinking yaaas its my chance of being first choice keeper next season!

I noticed that.Originally posted by thebeachend View PostNot one Liverpool player goes to console the keeper.
It was Madrid players.
On a human level you have to feel for the bloke.
It’ll be tough to come back from that.
He’s finished at Liverpool.
I suspect he’ll end up back at a lower German team, out of the spotlight.

It seems to be fashionable these days for managers to keep faith with players who clearly aren’t good enough,McInnes is guilty of that with certain players as well.
Without trying to be a back in the day guy if a player put in a performance like that in such an important game he would never play for the club again, these days managers seem to have more loyalty to players because they are their pals for some reason.

It's not fashionable, it's just common sense. De Gea, for instance, had a terrible first season at Man United, now he's regarded as one of the best keepers in the world. If you rate a keeper and you watch them all the time in training and know what they're capable of then binning them on the basis of one bad game is just stupid.Originally posted by rico94 View PostIt seems to be fashionable these days for managers to keep faith with players who clearly aren’t good enough,McInnes is guilty of that with certain players as well.

Was that nae his only game? A 4-2 defeat was it? I mind reading the commentary on here, people in attendance almost lost for words at what they were seeing.Originally posted by RedStarTorphins View PostAnother brilliant Calderwood signing.
I remember one game at Rugby Park (it might’ve been a midweek League Cup tie) and he looked like a fan that had won a raffle to get a game in goal.
