We really need VAR in Scotland. It might finally stop the gruesome twosome getting so many dodgy penalties.

VAR was somewhat successful in the World Cup because you had referees who were unbiased and VAR teams who were also neutral.

I think VAR in Scotland would have the exact opposite of the intention behind VAR, i.e., if the Ref didn't get the decision wrong (in favour of them) the first time, VAR would give the Ref another chance to arrive at the wrong decision.

You only need to look at the decisions made by the SFA Compliance Officer in reversing right decision in favour of them.

If we can't get neutral refs in this country,, we have no chance in getting neutral VAR teams?

Spot on. There's not a hope in hell of ever getting a completely neutral VAR team for an SPL game, especially when either of the ugly sisters are involved, or in a game where the result could affect them.

Two things they won’t be out done on is
1) conniving - McLean, Naismith, Berra etc know the tricks of the trade.
2) Strength, physicality & work-rate.

To be fair Rico, they scored some decent goals, from some decent play. Wasn’t just “hit the big man & play off him”

I heard they played well today but Levein will set them up so they are hard to beat when we play them up here.
