So we can pick a player from a pub league but a player with experience and banged in 20 this season in the Scottish second tier isn't good enough

Would that nae just be lazy scouting , picking a player on his doorstep ?....thought you of all people would be impressed by the net being spread overseas to find players

      • We’ve picked players from the lowest league before. It is odd how the management can overlook the first division.

I saw that some Scottish boy scored for Malaga at the weekend. I’d never heard of him, has Big Eck?

When you finish your lower league hike you could start a USA one.

              • I think we have the makings of a half decent Scottish international side, but not convinced that the man at the helm can turn that potential into reality.

McLeish was a diabolical appointment. If we do enjoy some sort of success under him, it will be in spite of him, not because of.

                • Against my better judgement I went along last night and was pleasantly surprised. I thought to be fair Scotland played reasonably well. Naismith as much as I detest him was my man of the match. Russell started really brightly burt faded away. McGinn, solid wee player but slack with passing at times. Was impressed by the hearts boy at the back. Miserable wet evening. Couldn't work out how the Albanian fans were placed. Most of them in the official away bitty of the west stand but another big section in the middle of it completely surrounded by stewards. Maybe it was two factions from Govanhill, I don't know. Crowd I think was given as 18 thousand two hundred and something i think. Monday night and exorbitant prices what do they expect.

                  • McTominay's dad is Scottish, personally I don't have an issue with folk with a Scottish parent declaring themselves Scottish.

Celtic are ****e this season due to complacency. The worry is Sevco pick them off rather than us.
