  • Fergie wouldn't have accepted that way of thinking.

All that happened was that we proved it could be done, so of course it can be done again.

Don't give me all the financial crap, we were always a small club, always miles financially behind the Tims and the old Huns, never mind Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.

That's not to say that I think it will happen again, only that it's possible, so keep trying.

Its a pro rata kinda thing surely, But you are probably right given the rewards for qualifying for the ECL are much increased. You've got to ask also even if we had a great winning side doing the bizz what sort of average crowd could we expect ? Be luck to get 18.000. The general apathy for our club in this City/area will always stop us progressing, Its a sh1te state O affairs as they say.

            • I didn't think man u were doing too badly this season.
Won a trophy and competing for the FA & UEFA cup, doing reasonable in the league.

I wish we were that bad.

                True....ish.

Our example to follow ,as an underdog capable of punching above our weight , is probably Bodo/Glimnt ?

That success in Europe nowadays would be getting anywhere near the 3rd tier Euro cup thing ? As EUFA have already successfully rigged all methods of winning towards the biggest Clubs.

In Scotland however , Bodo would be beating the Huns home & away and za t least level pegging the Timothy .( Allowing for the Glasgow " adjustments" system !! )

                  • Whilst technically, from a league position point of view we should be hoping that Livingston lose tonight, I cannot bring myself to wish for anything positive for that Ojo-assaulting plastic disease that is their opponent.

                    • I know.

We can deal with Livingston later.

I saw that the Jutes had committed a foul about every 7 minutes by a quarter of the game gone. Filth.

Huns equalised v Hibs via….a penalty, naturally.

Ended up watching a bit of spurs v milan

Apart from the game being shïte, I couldn't stand the commentary.

When did a good old fashioned counter attack become " transition " and why do they have to say it at least three times a minute?

                                Now 1-1
                                Result is fine for us
