  • In today’s P&J, ex-keeper Nicky Walker (aka butter shortbread fingers) has taken over as MD from his late da at Walker’s of Aberlour. Maybe he’ll improve wages and hours, which by repute are a tad regressive.

It also reveals that his loon is involved in the business somewhere, but despite having no interest in the juvenalia that is sci-fi, if Luke Walker’s middle name isn’t ‘Skye’, I will be most disappointed.

              • Jist read the pic info ... en route tae the cup final, 1970.

So Ah'm up for gaein the quines a break here.

It's early in the mornin. They've had a ****e night's sleep wi the anticipation. They're at the station prob somethin like 8 in the mornin. They've been up nae doot since aboot half five packin, ironin, gettin the auld 'pollyset' intae their hair, pickin oot their best claes fae the fkn 60s, and prob aware that oor chunces o' a win werena weel rated - itherwise, a few mair smiles might hae brightened up a few o' their coupons.

For their fkn effort an' dedication, Ah'd gie them aa a good shag as a thank you for their support o' that great Dons side fa bucked the odds an had the fkn ribbons hastily changed on that cup. ... nae aa on the same day tho ... Ah'm nae as young as Ah used tae be - an' haein said that ... ne'er are they ... so maybe we jist leave it there!

That’s the best deal in the clubs history. More than outweighs the two worst, Dodds & O’Neil
