      • An article about ex dons midfielder Isaac Osbourne is on the P&J website.

Quit the game aged just 28 due to injury and now works for Aston Martin. The factory he works is in a place called Gaydon!

My memory isn't as good as it once was, but I remember him being a decent player for us at the time, but always seemed to pick up injuries.

If I remember correctly, did he have a brother that played for Hibs?

Yes, his brother Isaiah played for Hibs. They faced each other twice when Isaac was with the AFC.

Solid player who unfortunately just kept breaking down. Was surprised he got two moves after us.
Decent especially after a couple of seasons of the Ghost, then Derek Young in midfield and an increasingly geriatric Hartley.

Zero recollection of a brother though and if like Swaddon says they faced one another with us, would surely have been newsworthy and I?ve forgotten. Don’t worry about your memory just yet.

              • I always thought he was a decent player but, aye, injuries did for him.

                • Gordon Marshall senior, whose loon of the same name was our 'keeper coach not so long, but many managers, ago, has died aged 85.

I remember him playing for us on the day Joe Harper was sold to Everton. A home 0-0 draw with Arbroath, as commemorated in the song. A match where the mood was leavened slightly by bumping into a student English teacher who was on teaching practice at Keith Grammar School at the time, and who impressed with his profanity skills in finding a dozen different ways of obscenely haranguing Bertie Miller who was having his usual effete 'mare on the left wing. We never talked of it again in class.

Scarred into my memory, is me & my Dad, reaching the newsagents at the top of Merkland Road, and there was the news that the King had been sold.

I'm a passing acquaintance of a Birmingham fan (via a shared love of the music of Bruce Frederick Joseph Springs****, born 23rd September 1949).
                        Her take........"He's not my favourite".

My granda, as always sent me the match programme. On the back page he had scored through the word Harper with three straight copper plate lines and printed the name ?Forrest? instead.
I believe Clark was in goal that day - post rumour that he was off to replace Gordon Banks at Stoke. Marshall had been transferred to Arbroath by then. So he did play. Kept out all the best efforts of Forrest, Varga et al. Ho hum. Hopefully we will do better today. But we may expect the worst?

Bobby Clark’s transfer to Stoke to replace Gordon Banks was planned to take place after we played Celtic at Pittodrie, and lost 3-2 a couple of months earlier. Varga scored both our goals. Stoke called the transfer off.

                            • Clark Robertson, ex-Dons stopper, scored for the bigger, but less stinky and insecure club in Dundee, in the cup against Airdrie. More importantly, he is the brother of Ryan (aka Robbo) the stalwart centre half and co-skipper of the Maroons of Proper Mannies status.

Their dad Michael, took this video of Craig Reid, goalkeeper of the MoPM status, scoring in the final minute at Crusty Park last season. The fine baritone to be heard as Craig silences the Tinks is mine.

I think I got around your punctuation shiitehousery there, Sibo, but sort it the fokk out you idle capitalist whanker.

Keith FC goalkeeper Craig Reid scored an overhead kick in the 91st minute to snatch a draw for his team against Huntly.

Yup. I was at the game. Day before my 7th birthday. Good job Mr Clark had an off day that day. Otherwise he would have been off and never won the league or had that dream about Davie Robb (although not like Olivia Newton John did.)
