Liverpool head coach Arne Slot admits prohibitive transfer fees may be a barrier to him signing a ready-made replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold.
On Monday the England international confirmed he would not be renewing his contract which expires in the summer – something which had been expected for a while with long-term links to Real Madrid.
It leaves the Premier League champions light in that area with 21- year-old Connor Bradley, with 54 senior appearances to his name, their only recognised right-back. (Scotsman 10.05.25)
So, Calvin Ramsay????

Get the loon hame and help get his career on track.
An excellent player if the injury/attitude* problems can be sorted.
*Bolton manager last season said something about attidude whilst on loan.

Unfortunately, some players simply arenÂ’t built robustly enough through no fault of their own and that can often be career-limiting. I remember Eric Black, for example, who was a cracking player had to retire early not long after going to France due to an orthopaedic problem with his lower back. Ramsay might be one such player with these challenges to overcome but if thereÂ’s an attitude problem too, perhaps due to the big wages heÂ’ll likely be on, then thatÂ’s as big an issue but at least he has some control over that. I hope that he can turn things around, if thatÂ’s what he wants.Originally posted by TheDeeDon View PostHe's not going to go from Killie bench to Liverpool first team squad.
