    • Apparently, the Balmedie Virus cost some twelve year old fitba team some diddy fitba game the day.
      Still, n'er mind, eh?

Aye posted that a few pages back, for veracity it’s not his first step - he’s previously managed Syngenta FC* in EOSL

I think I used to go clubbing in Syngenta back in the day.

              • Bruce Anderson signs on for Killie. Should be interesting considering McInnes wasn't interested in him when he was here as a loon.

Connor McLennan must be odds on for Killie too.

A nice guy and a very good defender for us

I ken he blotted his copy book by playing for the Joot and then signing for the Cove Hun.

                  • Bruce Anderson to Killie feels like the definition of irony. Signing for a manager who hardly gave him a sniff at Aberdeen.

                    • Another blast from the past in the local rag today.

Richie Byrne. Fine loon by all accounts, but was never a fitba player.

Ross McCrorie talking about being in the Scotland squad.
Realised it’s the first time I’ve heard him speak. Not how I imagined at all…

Just watched the god episode and very good it was too.
Thank flock he never tried to be like Jackie Copeland!

You're left scratching your head as to how we went from Willie to the likes of Anthony Stewart as captain.

Anyway, for the older folks on here. A clip of what looked like Willie scoring a peach of a goal against Der Hun back in the 70s. Looked like MacLeod was manager at the time.
Any idea what game this was from?

Me too. That's why I wondered what the game was.

Was a cracking goal. Must have still had a strikers instinct.

Scottish Cup 25 January 1975. First time I've seen the goal since that same evening on Sportscene nearly 50 years ago. I wonder where they managed to dig up that footage from after all this time?

The next scene showing Miller with Ally McLeod must of course have been from a later match (post Nov 1975).

I can't recall seeing his goal against Wales since then either.
