Seeing how Norwich are now aware of just how useless McLean is, I dread the thought of him back at Pittodrie in January.

I'd take him back no problem - still in his prime, and exactly what we're missing and needing in the centre of midfield. I don't think there's much chance of it though - but I do imagine there'll be a fair bit of activity in January - hopefully offloading a heap of players like Gleeson, Forrester, May for a start.Originally posted by donsdaft View PostSeeing how Norwich are now aware of just how useless McLean is, I dread the thought of him back at Pittodrie in January.

I see he is struggling to break thru, you are 100% correct, being lightweight and greedy has no place in entertaining football, meanwhile up in Scotland we prefer to see heavyweight players lump it.Originally posted by sheepcrooky View PostI know a lot of people say "once they leave us, I don't care what they do", however, I am always interested in what former players of the mighty AFC are doing. This thread is for news on former Dons, either good or bad.
I'll start and say I see Maddison started for Norwich last night in the league cup and got a goal and an assist. For me, Maddison will never make the top grade (too lightweight and greedy), but he will still make a good living out of football.

I was meaning more you clearly do as"our current coach" plays that tactic with Donkgrove in the team and you love "our current coach". He also has utilized it throughout his tenure. Remember Taylor up front days. Awesome times those. You seem not to mind at all or you have forgotten about it as "our current coach is some kind of genius". I think it is awful and enough to put me off. The sevco game on day one was f@cking awful to watch.Last edited by Pacman1903; 09-10-2018, 11:58 AM.

Stockely seems to score every game. I don't buy the nonsense about finding his level though.Originally posted by InversneckieDob View PostJust watching the lower league English show on Quest..... Nicky Maynard, Jayden Stockley and Wes Burns troubling the scorers.
Scott Brown shipping six, it seemed just about all of them from corners.
As for Scott Brown, I reckon he's one of the worst players we've ever had.

I Agree Scott Brown and at a worst time I still feel if we had a better keeper 2nd half of the season we could have ran smeltic a lot closer!Originally posted by Aldo1983 View PostStockely seems to score every game. I don't buy the nonsense about finding his level though.

Stockley was victimised by referee's up here. Mark Hately for one got away with arms and elbows three or four times every game, Stockley got booked and red carded when he jumped.Originally posted by Aldo1983 View PostStockely seems to score every game.
