  • FCSB v Aberdeen

I've never done a match thread for a European tie before, so I don't know if I have to do one for both legs. Here is one anyway.

Aberdeen travel to Bucharest to take on FCSB in the second leg. It all happens on Thursday 28th August with a 7:30pm kick-off.

The Dons have only once played a Romanian team in Europe, Arges Pitesti in 1981. We won that tie 5-2 on aggregate. I believe that was the game where we were 2-0 down at half time in the second leg and Fergie lost the plot and chucked a tray of tea cups at the wall.

As I said in the previous leg's thread, I wouldn't be too upset if we lost out on the Europa League. As long as we put up a fight and don't make any fatal errors.

    ?8 a ticket for this.

I think we were paying that back in the 80s or early 90s.

Would there fans have been charged the ?30 we were for last night?

Fawa News streams most games and is very reliable, allegedly, so I suspect they?ll have it.

My prediction of 3-0 the good guys on aggregate is kind of fcuked after the 2-2 draw from last week.
the manner in which we lost the two goals was beyond shocking and I am sure we have been working on better defending approach for this game.
Still have a good feeling about this tie overall and think we will progress, pretty sure it will be squeaky bum time and clenched bum cheeks at times tonight but we are going to win this on penalties.

              COYR lets fkn do this.

I think that Thelinball will click into place tonight, and we will sweep them aside 3-0, leaving FCSB's owner to eat his words after his comments the other day.

Or we'll get pumped 5-0. One of the two.

Lets just do it and get ourselves some UEFA Cup action.

2-3 to the Dons. We're not keeping a clean sheet!

If we can't beat 10 of them at home, I don't see how we beat 11 of them away.

Finally no Yengi. Put him on the next boat back to Australia.

This looks a far better more balanced team. Their striker still looks the best player on the pitch
