So with Pollock coming in and potentially the goalie fae Ajax, added to Scales, Clarkson, Coulson and Shinnie gives us six players on loan, with four being considered first choices at the moment.

Throw in doubts about the future of Morris, Richardson and possibly Vinnie along with Hayes being on his last legs.

It's going to be another large turnover of players this summer too.

Just thought I'd share that depressing thought with you all.

I'd rather it was eventful for the right reasons though, rather than thinking about next seasons line up in the middle of the night.

We find ourselves in the predicament of having no manager and this will not serve us well (I would imagine) during the last hours of the transfer window. I will be very surprised if we sign a player on a full time deal and not a loan. Mind you, we can hardly be fussy because of the current state we find ourselves in. We can always trot out the line about finding players out of contract.
I doesn’t really matter now this season and our only priority and money spent on at the moment should be finding the best manager available for our club. They can then decide what they need for team/squad players etc. Mowbray can have the night off….Gunn should be totally focused on finding a top quality manager who can change this Aberdeen.

quick Google shows him playing championship level a year or so back, but mentions something amiss medically after his transfer to Hull. Probably why it's a short term deal. Could be decent but an injury risk...ah well...nothing new.

He had surgery for bowel cancer, recovered now according to reports on the bbc.

I’d imagine the short term thing is more to do with waiting to see who the new manager is.

Well Flock knows what most of these folk are like but in this transfer window we've signed Shinnie, a young international who might be good?? 2 centre halves and a goalie. Even if no one else comes in, (left back please) that's more than I would have expected

The new boy MacDonald was/is the partner of X Factor winner Alexandra Burke. I don't do pictured, but I would happily give her a length of stroop.

So potentially a near new defence tomorrow night, although I can't imagine Stewart being dropped.

I just hope regardless of who is in defence the playing it out from the back shyte left Easter Road in Goodwin's manbag on Saturday.
