Alan Burrows has hit out at a fan who said that Aberdeen have been "lax" in the transfer window.

Lax probably isn’t correct but it does look like we missed out on our main target by being a bit tight with the cash.

I can’t blame Burrows for posting that.A lot of fans are wetting the bed as usual because we haven’t signed all the players we need.Signing players isn’t as easy as some of these guys think.

The problem is this is the 3rd season in a row where we have had to sign over 10 players in the summer,that’s largely down to the fact we have had 4 managers in the last 2 1/2 years.

It’s never going to be easy getting in that amount of players every year so it’s critical that the club gets a bit of stability so we don’t have to bring in a dozen players again next summer.

Loaning players has something to do with it but it’s mainly down to us changing managers every year.

There’s absolutely no chance that out of the 12 or so signings we make none of them are going to be shyte.

You just have to hope that the majority of them are good and we stick with Robson for a few seasons so he can build a good team.

No manager is going to get much time now if results aren't coming our way.

The changing manager every season and yearly squad revamps are hurting us, but we have to hope Barry gets time to make his mark on the team and maybe next summer we are not in the position of a squad rebuild again.

I reckon unless we are struggling near the foot of the table then Robson will be given time.

Cormack has had 4 managers already and he only took over as chairman in 2019 so if he did end up having to sack Robson this season then it really doesn’t look good on him.

He would be in real danger of turning us into a train wreck of a club like Hearts are.

I am personally loving all the pundits down south moaning about the Saudi's splashing the cash and how it will ruin the game, when they all benefitted from Sky doing the same in 1992.
