He is the last first team player listed on the AFC website and has no number assigned to him.

I'd say he is as good as away.

    • Woke up at 3:30 this morning, thinking that the green filth had made a bid for McGrath.

Only now seen that they are selling o'riley to Brighton and wouldn't put it past the manky mob to do just that.

We don't need to sell, but it could well unsettle him IF it came to pass.

Of course could also help secure him on a new long term deal.

Someone on the hat has posted McGraths stats for the first 3 league games.

He’s got 3 assists 2 goals and has created 16 chances.

The next player who has created the most chances in the 3 games is Forrest with 7 chances.

We really need to prioritise getting McGrath to sign a new contract before other teams start taking notice.

Big shoes to fill upfront, but somebody has to do it.

We supposedly beat off Hibs for his signing and you have to think if he was a distruptive influence first time around, they wouldn't have wanted him back.
Kevin is a good striker, but has slipped down the pecking order at Millwall who paid £2.7 mil for him, as they have just brought in Daniel Kelly from Celtic, fee undisclosed.

I hope the lad does. He needs to start showing he is a goalscorer and be quick about it. Miovski is very big boots to fill

                  Depends how he's involved.
If he's getting ten minute cameos off the bench cos Gueye and Sokler are bagging a brace each every game.......I really dinna care if he disnae trouble the scorers ever.
If he's starting, I'd reckon two or three.

You are a real ray of sunshine with your posts.

We have our best start in years and we are all feeling confident and then up you pop.

You could tell from his cameo on Sunday that he has a far better first touch than either Mpape or Sokler and we know he can score goals at our level.

I predict he'll get off the mark well before 12 games, provided he plays of course. If JT sticks with Sokler (I don't think he will) then it may well get to 12 games and beyond and potential for a Nicky Maynard mark 2.

                    • Nisbet will score tomorrow, it will be our 3rd in a comfortable 0-3 win to the good guys.
That will be him off and running and we will be offering him a permanent contract deal long before his loan expires.

I know - he's had a good 12 mins so far and still not off the mark. If he hasn't scored by 17:55 tomorrow I reckon he's a write off.

                        • I wasn’t writing him off
Just a prediction was required…12 matches is what I predicted. Let’s see who wins? Have a guess

To be fair though, suggesting 12 matches involvement until he scores in a team that has scored 23 goals in 8 games, regardless of opposition, sounds to me like you're writing him off a tad already.

Since Jimmy has came in I struggle to think of one thing that anyone can negatively say about AFC at the moment.
