Seems so. Looks like we’re holding him to his contract. Fair play to the club if so.

As I posted earlier, the club were possibly holding on as much as possible for someone to take him, but no takers in the end.Originally posted by swaddon2 View PostJayden Richardson has gone, and that is Aberdeen's transfer business completed for this window.
A waste really, but he wasn't the first and won't be the last.
I suspect in years to come he will join the ranks of players we had forgotten had ever played for us and we've had a few of those.
Good luck to the loon and hope he put the coin earned from us to good use ad don't see him having much of a career in the game.
To think, we even managed to get a fee for the boy Cal Roberts.

Jayden could well be teaming up with Anthony Stewart shortly in the PFA games and Stewart has already played in a couple.Originally posted by swaddon2 View PostThe dole queue.
If you don't know, these are games organised by the players union for out of contract players, to give the players a hand in finding new clubs.

If we needed a defender badly then yes, but I think our squad is just about fine without being perfect.Originally posted by Donanddusted View PostI'd heard Michael Hector was playing last weekend in these games.

Too many bodies just means more unhappy players not playing.
To think we won all that we did in the 80s with nothing near the size of squad we had now and folk still think we are light in numbers.
Who stepped into the breach back in the 80s if Miller or McLeish were ever injured?
I'm sure it happened, but can't think of any other defenders from that time bar the other Neil Cooper.

His original position was as a central defender, but like McLeish before him, was too good to be kept out of the first team, and was given a midfield run.Originally posted by TheDeeDon View PostHadn't realised Tattie Cooper played at centre half.
