  • If Duk goes we’ll still have 16 different nationalities at the club. Modern fitba eh?

Conveniently spread though which makes me it easier for my increasingly deaf dad who either can’t or won’t learn names since about the Goodwin era. Polvara/Palavasera is too much for him. It’s the American, the Croatian boy etc.

A second Dutch player is no issue as Vinnie has been “the little boy” fae day one

    • Duk was superb in his first season.

That goal down at Tannadice was a thing of beauty , but plenty other good games in a red jersey. The sort of player you want to see on a pitch.

Best for him and us if he is going and if we claw some money back, then even better.

      • Duk first player I’ve loved in a long time. Really took to the guy.
So disappointing how it’s ended up. Never the same after his head was turned.
A maverick that did things that took your breath away. A joy to watch in his pomp. Equally his diving latterly infuriated me to no end.

Still overall I’ll remember him fondly.

And if we get a fee now fantastic.

        • Thon is a fair puckle o foreigners signed noo!

Am I right in thinking we could easily have a starting 11 without a single Scottish player now? Nae sure if you?re allowed that like but hypothetically speaking.

Aye posted similar earlier. Think Scottish/home grown requirement is only in Europe?

Back to the days of very little Scotland involvement going forward.
It definitely had an impact on my being less interested in Scotland games over the years.

              • Wonder if we’ve yet to hear about more to go out?
Current squad of 29 (including Duk)

Never going to get any youth anywhere near the pitch.

                • Thats Duk confirmed away to Spain.

Nae quite sure how hes swung that but good news. Right decision.

Been phoning it in pretty much since he came back from his huff.

                  Great first season, pish since.

Shyte attitude & doubtless been a negative influence in the dressing room.

Wont be missed - bye 👋

                  • Duk gone is the best news of this window.
Totally fcuked up decision when the club took him back from his AWOL vacation.
Great to see him gone, cheerio.

To all the new arrivals welcome to the club and all the best.

                    • I think it's safe to say that with the transfer window closed and three permanent signings, two loans with buy options and a loan from an EPL club. Thelin isn't going anywhere where for the foreseeable.
I doubt we would have been so active if doubts at a higher level about the manager.

We just all need to hope that our results start to improve.

                        • Aye seems that they tried to get that deal done last minute but unsuccessfully.

Thelin has tried the first now he's trying the second.

Well, this will be interesting , if nothing else !!

Our new striker has arrived " with a strong personality " on & off the piitch. ?

So he can moan a bit,eh ? Could work for us .....?

Chareloi fans ( some, of course ) are motivated enough to get onto social media to tell us he has a bad attitude. Sound a bit like Dandies !! Seems that their Club have had problems all season with not giving their strikers a decent supply of the ball. I`d like to think that we`ll get the ball in the box a bitty more , and then we`ll see how he does.

A cup tie v Dunfermline next. Curious to see how many get pitched right in there. As I said, be interesting.

Glad to read someone still has a bit of confidence.

The new striker will be moaning a lot more than he did in Belgium if we don't start to shape up.
