600,000 pounds plus add-ons was what I read. Mind you, Luton must be skint after getting relegated twice in two seasons. And they're building a new stadium.

My english team & its quite the opposite actually. The Prem season money & then the parachute payments following relegation mean theyre quite flush. They actually got an extra ?4m for some inexplicable reason for getting relegated again.

Also absolutely mugged the hun for ?3.5million for an utter donkey in Asgaard last week so no shortage of cash - though a big reason for the double relegation was the fact too much of the cash has been diverted to the new stadium.

Id rather keep Shady too, but unless he signs an extension Id take ?1m plus add ons now.

I agree - we go for an extension or sell. Don?t want to see him leaving for nothing.

What?s everyone?s opinion on the new signings so far.

We don?t produce rumours for the media (the club) regarding signings as everything is top secret currently. My grumble would be it can be a bit boring but totally understandable.

It?s difficult to give an opinion about the new signings because I dont know a lot about them so they deserve to be given a chance.

I would say that the window so far has been a disappointment,still 6 weeks to go but we have a weaker squad than we did last season at the moment.

We have lost 8 first team players and have brought in 6, considering we are going to be playing every Thursday/ Sunday until Christmas we need to be bringing in a lot more players in the next 6 weeks.

I?m optimistic about the quality of the arrivals on the whole, but agree we look light at this point and certainly need a nailed on starting striker.

There?s plenty of time left in the window, but I?d not want to go into the Hearts game with our current strikers as our only option.

Our season could well be finished after 10 games unless we either sign a proven goal scorer or are lucky enough to unearth an unproven one!

If you look at Jimmys set up with his previous teams, he doesn't really use a proven goalscorer, more about the front three chipping in around 10 goals per season, with support from the midfield.

Still enough time to get more players in. I am going to hold Dave Cormack to his word when he stated we would spend even more this season in the transfer windows. We haven’t spent a lot so far so i reckon we could be on the way to breaking our transfer record for someone.
We need Bojan Miovski or someone of the same ilk. No football team worth their salt starts a season without a real threat in front of goal. Aberdeen need more threat up front. No excuses.

Thats great if your front 3 and midfielders are chipping in with around 10 goals a season but none of ours did that last season.

Then its a worry if you dont have a proven goal scorer.
