If he can link up better with Topi, Milanovic and Aiuchiche, then they should be a great watch.

It doesn't take much for a striker to look good in our league, so hopefully the loon can be the missing piece of our attacking threat and the goals will flow.

    • I'm no Red John tactically but the vibe I get off Sir Yames's formation is that it's more important for the 9 to act as a conduit for the three in behind.
This'll mean playing a lot of the time with his back to goal and getting the ball early while effectively marked.
Looking at the stats for Effsberg my recollection is the wide guys and the 10 did the heavy lifting goals wise.
      Or a meringue?

That's how I believe Thelin wants us to play and is how his previous teams lined up.

I doubt we will see a 20 goals a season striker under Thelin, but if we can get two or three attackers into double figures that should be enough.

A big IF though, but hopefully all comes good.

Explain to me how Oh**** has been a real talent against Ipswich, Hearts and Celtic?
He has no influence on matches and been overrun constantly. He hasn?t made a positive contribution to our team. He was brought in to create chances for the team but so far I see no return.
          He crumbles under pressure.
What a signing (and hooked again yesterday).

I look forward to reading your real talent analysis.

            .

As usual you're just at it or you fell asleep from your comfy armchair watching the game as clearly you weren't at the matches watching him. Go back and re-watch the matches and try and stay awake this time and then come back and tell us that he isn't our most talented player

You are best to ignore him . He thrives on it.

The one thing most of us at the game agreed on yesterday was how good Aouchiche looked.

I stayed awake for the match but admittedly was occupied with family at the same time.
Since you were there explain to me how Ohsh!t influenced the game and done a number on the Celtic midfield and defence? I must have missed this as all I seen was 1 shot from him and not one bit of pressure from him during the match. I could have put a traffic cone on the pitch to play against him and it would have succeeded. In fairness any of the front 4 would have struggled against a traffic cone yesterday. What a poor performance

That is why Aberdeen players get away with what they do. Ohsh!t done the square root of fk all.
Polvara was Aberdeen?s best player yesterday and he was only on the pitch a very short time and even he didn?t lay a glove on them.

You should sign for Aberdeen as your chances of being picked last for games has been drastically reduced. Yengi and the real talent have suddenly made you a better player. Well done.

                    • Seen something on Sky Sports News this morning that Marko Lazetic is currently waiting on his UK visa process being completed and will fly to Aberdeen this week to complete his free transfer to the Dons.
Nae really sure what to make of this in-coming to be honest but surely to fk he just canna be as bad a signing as Yengi. it's nae possible for our recruitment team to be that bad twice is it

                      • Aberdeen are keen on a move for 20-year-old Varnamo winger Kenan Bilalovic, with a transfer of around ?550,000 being discussed. (Scott Burns on X)

Get your passport ready as we have a fitness test to complete for our move to Aberdeen. You could easily replace Ohsh!t and feed me the passes and i will do what Yengi cannot do (control a ball and score) and everyone is a winner. As long as i don?t have to suffer Gunn greeting me at the airport everything will run smoothly. I will demand the captain?s armband because not one of the current lot have that long term leadership ability. I have a good 9 or 10 years left in me (playing wise) so continuity will be good for the club. Yengi can also get to fk as I am wearing the 9 shirt. Game on!

This one seems to have a fair bit of traction and a number of places reporting on it. By all accounts he might well be here by the weekend.
