  • All the best Rubi.

?Slobodan Rube?ić has tonight completed a permanent move to Polish side Korona Kielce for an undisclosed fee.

Following his departure, Dons boss Jimmy Thelin explained the move was a good solution for both the club and player.

?Since his return for pre-season Slobodan has made it clear that it is important for him to get regular game time this season. Unfortunately, that is not something we can guarantee him here at Aberdeen and this move, which allows him to be closer to home, will enable him to focus on his next stage of his career.

?Slobodan was a popular figure at the club, and we thank him for his hard work and professionalism during his time with us. We wish him every success?

The 25-year-old Serbian joined the Dons from Serbian SuperLiga club FK Novi Pazar, making 57 appearances and scoring one goal over the two seasons he was at Pittodrie. He spent the latter half of last season on loan at former club FK Novi Pazar.

His performances for the Dons earned him a call up to the Montenegro national team for the first time and then made his debut in a friendly match against Lebanon.

Everyone at AFC wishes Rubi all the very best with his future career.?

      Good luck to the guy.

Seemed a good lad, but what a bombscare at the back.

Decent lad, struggled a bit with some stress and personal health issues, handled it well.

        AH the best big man.

        • See that Jimmy has kind of suggested there is still a rumbling interest and a possibility that we might be looking into brining Nisbet back

          • Mitchel Frame - A 19 year old left back from Celtic, apparently signed on a four year deal. Reported on most media places, but nothing official yet.

As with all other signings made, never heard of the loon before. Hope is is useful at taking penalties though and not a bottler like others at the manky c*nts.

            • What a pathetic name the lad has. For that reason I hope we don’t actually sign the Celtic reserve player. We still have the German/Ghana lad to start playing. Plenty cover for left back at the moment. Spend money on forward players.

              • Apparently Cormacks been going around Bucharest telling fans that Kevin Nisbet is a done deal.

                • Yep - got it on good authority that Nisbet is a done deal & will be back by Monday.

Delighted with that. Thank fuuck Hibs wanted Dykes if rumours were true we were interested. Have Nisbet over the perma crock Dykes any day of the week.

EDIT: Fit the fuucks wrong with this site now. Im having to log back in every time I want to post. Massive pain in the arse.

Honestly, this place is an absolute joke these days. Just a complete disaster. Fuuck off Sibo.

I believe he did fancy going back down south when Luton bid for him earlier in the summer.

Won us a cup and not many AFC players can claim that.

Good luck to the lad if true.

He fairly proved his doubters wrong the past 12! months. I include myself as one too.
Did feel sorry for the loon after that Motherwell game.

Underwhelming especially if we broke the bank for him. Even more so if Morris has gone as chances are not abundant without him. Fingers crossed it works out ....if true.

Sad to see him go, contract should have been extended long time ago. This guy could do damage to opponents, more than can be said for this current squad.

At least the cash sounds decent.

Again and I reiterate that we are replacing 7 or 8/10s in match ratings with 5 or 6/10s. Bottom line is we are not improving in any department but the opposite.

He will probably be replaced by some Swedish guy who is drives a gritter, but Thelin saw some potential in him in a up game years ago.

Our recruitment policy is achieving the opposite of what it should.

Get the first1st team sorted out firstly, then look at the project players.

Is it me or does this window seem a mess with no aim.

Up till now with only a puckle of days left. This window has not been anywhere near as good as that min.

                              • It has been a dreadful transfer window so far for the people involved at Aberdeen FC. Still time to rectify a few things though.
Remember our chairman telling us all after the cup final that our spending this year will be greater than the previous. He better step up a gear or two regarding that.
We are really lacking going forward and pose very very little threat scoring wise. Our strikers are not regular goal scoring players so that is a real issue that needs resolved.
Is Kevin Nisbet the answer, in my opinion no.
Ohsh!t is liked by fans but offers nothing as a goal threat. No fantastic through passes and no goals. He isn’t what we need and at best should just be a squad player with limited time.
Yengi, Ambrose and Sokler are no threat at all. Sokler will score more goals than the other 2 put together but nowhere near enough required to be a starter for Aberdeen.
The club have failed the fans (so far) in this window. The manager is being made to look stupid. Game on for the last few days to address the current issues.
