I suspect he had better financial options elsewhere. However, the team spirit seems to be very good at the moment and most of the players look to be on good terms with one another, he has European football to look forward to, he will most likely be a regular starter, he is still only 21 and he will likely have good options elsewhere within the next year or so. I think he’s made the right decision and that’s not just me being selfish. Whoever has advised him needs to be applauded. He also comes across as being very sensible and grounded.
