  • Lying Jute cùnts:

“Dundee United have confirmed that their ticket allocation for this month’s clash with Aberdeen “remains unchanged” from previous visits to Pittodrie.

Away briefs for the televised clash – Jim Goodwin’s first return to the Granite City as a manager since being sacked by the club in 2023 – went on sale on Monday morning and were snapped up within an hour.

Subsequently, it was suggested on social media that United had been given around 1,000 fewer tickets for the fixture than usual, most notably in a claim circulated by fan group, the Dundee United Supporters Foundation (DUSF).

United have described that post as “inaccurate” and warned that such claims could “cause increased tensions” ahead of the match on October 26. DUSF have since apologised and posted a correction.

A Dundee United statement, posted on X, stated: “Following some inaccurate social media posts last night, we want to clarify that our ticket allocation for Pittodrie remains unchanged from previous seasons.

“We have been in dialogue with Aberdeen FC and Police Scotland and agree that such posts have the potential to cause increased tensions and wish to ensure fans that our allocation has not been reduced for this fixture.”

DUSF wrote: “It appears we got incorrect information regarding Pittodrie tickets as apparently we received around the same as last time. Our apologies.””

    The usual delusion.

    Fùcking prìcks.

            • Wait. Whaaaaat??? We missed this ground-hawking announcement in June ‘24.
“In a landmark partnership, the club is pleased to announce CalForth Construction as our stadium naming rights partner. As part of the agreement, our stadium will now be known as the CalForth Construction Arena at Tannadice Park until the summer of 2026, marking one of the most lucrative partnerships in our history.”

Redefining ‘tin-pot’ again and again and again, like the two-bit whores they are.

                  I think it’s poor punctuation.

As is “Dundee United are’na a serious football club” although “isna” would be more grammatically correct, of course.

Standards am standards after all, low though theirs may be.

Meccano ground naming rights sold to a local plasterer though…

Calforth carry our extension and have been in existence since 2022.

Be interesting to know how much 'lucrative' is worth to them. As most building firms haven't a pot to p!ss in.

I get the feeling they maybe won the naming rights with a half time draw ticket.

                      • Dundee United should not have been awarded the penalty kick that allowed them to equalise against Hibernian, according to the Scottish FA's key match incident review panel.

                        🫤 Irksome.
