Wi Dundee now promoted ( booooo! ) hope tae **** their neighbours get the drop. As much as it might be pleasin in a 'gloatable' fashion re, former Dons bosses, Ah hope Ross fkn C+nty go hand in hand wi the f*ckers rather than Killie ... even if their pitch is sh!te and they play in fkn blue.
Fk off Ross Co ... ye've had yr day in the sun ... go forth and drap doon further and enjoy tussles wi fkn Hamilton an' Cove.
As for oor league ... fresh meat please ... in the form of Ayr, Partick or Queens ...
Next season? please ... get Livi tae f*ck.
.. Disclaimer .... nithin against new teams ... it's jist ... new teams play fkn neanderthal tactics tae survive rether than actually challenge in any real or creative wye (OK some auld clubs dae the same but .... ).
The 'Championship' is always a fkn entertainin' League tae follow ... but it would be nice if a team came up fa could survive the top flight by playin proper FITBA!Last edited by NaeMairNeeps; 08-05-2023, 03:32 AM.

As much as the current version of Ross County is agricultural in the extreme, if we're playing them in Dingwall, I can rise at a decent hour, have a leisurely stroll with the dogs, a full breakfast and still be in a Dingwall hostelry whilst mine host is removing the towels.
And they play on grass as God intended.
County up, Killie, PJMs down.....Ayr or the Harry Wraggs up.......and Livi with their abortion of a pitch down next season, ICT up.
In short, get rid of all plastic pitches and get teams up that play on grass and are easy for me to get to.

Samesies. I like a trip to County and, although I don't have stats to back this up, I feel the cheeks don't like travelling up there and often succumb to a hiccup points wise.Originally posted by InversneckieDob View PostAs much as the current version of Ross County is agricultural in the extreme, if we're playing them in Dingwall, I can rise at a decent hour, have a leisurely stroll with the dogs, a full breakfast and still be in a Dingwall hostelry whilst mine host is removing the towels.

Not so sure about the County fans though. I was chatting to one in G casino one time who said she was a County fan but sat in the away end when the tims came up as it was a better atmosphere.

I see they paraded their 1983 default championship-stealing squad yesterday.
Before a capacity crowd of 10,000 too. I reckon they counted the legs rather than the heads.
I saw a pic of the plastic squad in one of today’s papers. If I were to opine that age has not improved Davie Dodds’s looks, that’s as kind as I can be.
No pics, for obvious reasons.

I see the passback is still in vogue down Tannadice way.
Now I might be wrong because I was only half watching but there was an obvious pass back which the keeper basically fell over.
In the scramble for the ball the keeper then picked it up.
Indirect free kick inside the box, surely.

It’ll be on their ‘honours’ board with eleven Forfarshire Cup runners-up triumphs, and the memorable progress to the second round of Quizball in 1968.Originally posted by swaddon2 View PostThey only used 10 players throughout the whole campaign, don't you know?
I wonder if they named a stand after that?

There must be an anniversary do coming up to remember the heroes that almost won the Summer Cup for them.Originally posted by 57vintage View PostIt’ll be on their ‘honours’ board with eleven Forfarshire Cup runners-up triumphs, and the memorable progress to the second round of Quizball in 1968.
