I am utterly amazed that we won a cup under this guy. Aside from that he must be close to having the worst record out of all previous managers. How he turned an unbeaten team from the start of last season into this shambles is a complete mystery that can only be explained by the fact that he doesn't really know what he is doing. It is for that reason he has to go.

This carries on through Well, Shakhtar and Dundee then it's the international break.
That's firing time.

While I would like to see how we compete under JT in Europe I honestly think it is just kicking the can further down the road and leaving a bigger hole for his successor to get us out of. It needs to be done now. There is no evidence of a radical change of fortune on the horizon if we keep the status quo.

Jimmy Thelin isnt the biggest issue here its Dave Cormack.

Since he took over from Milne the club has went backwards football wise.

I was Stewart Milnes biggest critic but Cormack has somehow managed to make us worse than we were under Milne and spent a fortune doing so.

We are in the same mess we were in under Glass,then Goodwin then Robson and then Warnock.

Has anyone heard of the rumour of the German guy we are trying to get in as our director of football?

If Cormack thinks that guy is the best option to run our club then Cormack has serious mental health problems.

What we do need is someone with a deeper understanding of the Scottish game with the ability to inspire those beneath. Cormack has neither.

Im still fizzing about our position and it really pisses me off when people go on about sacking the manager and everything will be sorted. The problems run deeper than that.

Unfortunately for Thelin thats how football works but to me it wont make much difference unless the club changes the way they are running things.

To me this season has been an absolute disaster from preseason, the requirement has been terrible plus the preseason preparation was all wrong.

2 friendly games plus a training ground game was never enough, too many folk at the club spent far too long in the summer giving themselves a pat on the back for the Scottish cup win when they should have been planning on building on that.

Huge opportunity missed.

I think similar. We need someone into the club ( a football person ) who will make better decisions regarding our football structure than Cormack, Burrows, Gunn etc have ever done.
We are supposedly a well run club business wise financially. I do not care about that though and would much rather we were far stronger in football terms.

Good luck to whoever the choice is. They certainly have plenty to get on with.

Gone full circle back to days of McInnes (before Dave stopped backing him). Recruitment is a bloody shambles.

We’re just rudderless. No direction. That’s on Cormack not JT.

I want to think Gunn going means he’s recognised that but I’ve not much confidence if he’s the one picking the new Sporting/DOF.

The Warnock debacle still gives me nightmares, I have no trust in the man’s judgement.

I took no offence to your comment, I was so pissed off last night that we lost that game I shouldnt have been coming on here posting.

But yes I agree the whole club is a mess. I noticed in one of Thelins interviews this week he said that he talks to Cormack on a daily basis which to me says that Cormack is still too involved with running the club.

Penguin stealing and match fixing aside I really dont think bringing this German guy in as director of football is what we really need at the moment.

He sounds like he wants his team to play a certain style similar to what Cormack has been trying to achieve for the last 5 years. I dont think we are going to be able to play our way out of this mess. We are in a relegation battle and need someone to come in and get us winning games, not worrying about getting us to try playing out from the back.

I don't know how accurate or how factual this is, But I remember reading somewhere that in the three transfer windows that technically Thelin has had he has signed twenty fcukin four (24) players in that three windows. That is insane and more so when you actually start to try and name them all it just goes to show how sh1te most them have been as not one of them out of twenty fcukin four have gone on to make a serious and significant positive impact to the team, not a single one.
