  • Bojan Miovski Appreciation Thread

    He deserves his own thread.

All the best to the loon in Spain. A fantastic player, great professional and I'm sure he will always look back on his time at Aberdeen with fondness.

Seems like a lovely lad, a great player, a brilliant professional & provider of some of the best bounces in recent years

All the best. I’m definitely naming my next cat Bojan Meowski

Model professional, obviously loved the club and us fans.
Played with a smile on his face, said it already that’s easier when you’re playing well but not every player manages it, this guy seemed genuinely thankful/delighted to be here.

Fantastic player, fantastic player for us, just a pity his time coincided with some of the worst teams/managers we’ve had but I wonder if we would even have stayed up in that spell if it hadn’t… I think he was that important.

Don’t need to wish him luck, I’ve no doubt with his attitude he’ll do well but still ah the best min, it’s genuinely been a pleasure.

Miovski was the best striker we had in a long time.

Good luck to him he deserves his move.

Hopefully they get Celtic in the champions league and he destroys them.

Always played with a smile on his face and I think he genuinely loved the club and what we stand for.

Just a pity we never got to see what he could have done with Jimmy Thelin at the helm.
I am just glad I was able to see his last (fleeting) appearance on the hallowed turf of Pittodrie.

Nothing but best wishes for him and his career.

              It's been a pleasure Bojan!

What a find he's been. Nobody had any idea who he was when he signed but we could all tell there was talent once we seen him play. He's the perfect example of how to conduct yourself in the red of Aberdeen. Met him a couple of times and he was top on both occasions.

Can't wait to see how his career pans out, I dare say we might even see some of that sell-on down the line.

                  Class player, class person
Seemed to love playing for the Dons and leaves with head held high.
Will always keep an eye out for how his is doing and may try to catch a game Girona are playing if ever out that way
Would love to see him back at Pittodrie one day

                    Good luck Bojan.
You might play for a bigger football club but you'll never play for a greater one

Show them they 'stole' you from us.

For me, our best striker since Gillhaus. He’s been the bright spark of the last 2 years. Lord knows where’d have been without him.

I wish him all the very best. Once a Red…

One of the best players to grace the shirt in many a day. Up there with the likes of Jess and Gillhaus and all done with a smile on his face. I read an article in the Sports section of the Herald today which said that Celtic should have gone for him (Rangers couldn't afford him). I was pleased to see the deal done with Girona and I have the sneaking feeling that Cormack would not have entertained an offer from the gruesome twosome. Will watch his progress in Spain with interest.

It's quite a low bar, to be fair.

A fantastic footballer and striker. Gonna miss him for sure .... unless we find another gem.

When did we last have a striker amass 44 goals in two seasons?? ( it's a trick question )
