Okay Swaddon .... we'll write this misdemeanor up as a verbal warning and trust your acknowledgement of same will serve to keep your hitherto performance levels on track. The terms of this verbal warning will expire in 3 months.

However, should further unfavourable results occur, with no plausible mitigation, a strenuous written warning will result alongside a period of probation.

It is understood that, in such a scenario, continuing to operate in your current role, under such intense scrutiny may be detrimental to your performance levels and general well-being. It is therefore the responsibility of the board to advise you to avail yourself of support such as an advocacy service, union representative and/or counselling services.

We trust that you take this decision, as well as the above advice on board, and hope that no further action will be warranted.

After some deliberation, I have decided to step back from starting match threads.

The team's recent form is partly my fault, and I feel that a new match thread starter would benefit the club in the long term.

With the return of Nisbet and our season changing signing of Karlsson on deadline day then normal winning service will resume shortly
And the services of our first class match thread starter will be required to continue
