  • Aberdeen v Falkirk

We leave our Europa League struggle behind and concentrate on our Premier League struggle instead.

Falkirk come up to Pittodrie for the first time in years on Sunday. It starts at 3 pm.

I fancy us to win 2-1.

They were a bit of a bogie team for us over the years.

They have struggled even more than us getting players in over the summer, but I suppose they have a fairly settled squad and manager.

    2-1 - Sokler and Yengi

Even though we are still in August, we really a win on Sunday and will be interesting to see if Jimmy believes in squad rotation.

Our first point on the board of what is already starting to look like being a very very long season.

It's an over used, media clich?, but this is a must win game.
        That simple.

All rumours and bluster from the club as usual. We have started the season with minimal planning and foresight and are now reaping the rewards. Hopefully we at least get a point against what will likely be our true rivals this season.

Proper fitba back today and just realised it is international fitba next weekend. ☹️

I hate modern fitba a hell of a lot.

Anyway, three points today and gets us a little bit closer to the champions elect (Hearts).

Heard a bit of Radio Scotland yesterday and it was cringey as f*ck.

Anyway, bring on the three points.

              1-1 is my prediction.
If Falkirk play half decent we will be in trouble. We have nothing of any note in forward areas and are extremely vulnerable at the back.
We do have Ohsh!t though. His sheer presence on the pitch because he once trained with Mbappe/Naymar etc could startle the Falkirk players into submission. The Sunderland reserve in reality will do as he normally does and produce f all to influence the game. Him and Yengi should just be put back on a bus and sent south again.
The only advantage we have is we are at home. If it was away from home I would have been thinking along the lines of a loss for us.
It is that bad, this early into the season!

                So match day it is.
I genuinely cannot see where we are getting a goal from with this current squad of losers.
Sticking with my 0-0 prediction but i hope to fk they come out the traps flying and prove me wrong
Yes this is a must win but to win a game you need to score 🤷🏻*♂️

As others have said, no ifs, no buts, must win.

Timothy just showed the folly of this playing with no proper striker thing.

AFC have 24 hours left to sort that out here.

That is a team to test our bottom of the league status. Yengi might have something to say about it though.

Best bit of play from Yengi bizarrely with his hands

I think Yengi is actually decent at anticipating the game and getting into pretty good position. I was pretty good at that myself. Also, like Yengi, couldn't kick a ba to save my life.
