    RIP Jimmy.
A real striker back in the day.
I recall every time going to see the dons against St. Mirren late 70's early 80's always thinking for fk sake we need to make sure Bone disna get a half chance or that us a guaranteed goal down.
According to wiki he had a goal return of 159 goals in 553 games.

A toff of a bloke by all accounts as well.

    RIP Jimmy Bone

A very nice guy. I played football with his son at Stirling Boys Club (roughly 40 years ago) for a while. He was always seen taking in kids matches wearing a long coaches jacket (popular at that time) with whatever club he was working with.
He was very popular in the football circle. Very well thought of.

    RIP Mr.Bone

I didn't realise he played for Patrick Thistle in that League Cup final when they pumped Celtic 4-1.
