Monday fecking night for our opener and then the first home game against the tims on the Sunday.
One of the worst aspects of modern fitba is the kick off days and times. I'd better get used to it with European fitba coming as well.
There was a lot of stuff going around Twitter the past few days and they basically called the opening fixtures correct.

8pm Monday is a joke. Fun driving to that one and getting parked in time after work on a Monday.
Other than that - the order of games is kinda irrelevant. We need to play them all 3 times (plus some) over the season, but it would be nice to get a run of 'easy' games early on for a bit of confidence. Equally, it's nice to get timothy out the way early so we can give them a pasting at home when we are still quite fresh.
As we have to play them, I am glad we don't have to go near that great unwashed pile of resurrected c**tery until November, and they don't tarnish our hallowed ground until January.
Other than that, enjoy the break and roll on the new season.
I am going for happy with 14 points from 18 for the Aug / Sept games.

have I accessed Kerrydale Street by mistake? behaveOriginally posted by GASC1980 View PostWe had a relatively speaking fairly easy opening first few fixtures last season. The powers that be were obviously not happy that we had the audacity to take maximum points so ensured we had a tougher start this time round.
