  • Aberdeen v Motherwell (League Cup)

Thelin's misfiring misfits host Motherwell at Pittodrie on Saturday 20th September at 1500 hours in the last eight of the League Cup.

I fancy a routine 3-0 win for the away side. There's no way this Aberdeen team is scoring another goal from open play this season.

Out for this one as away to some gigs, thinking it was an international wekend.
      ☹️

Our cup record in recent seasons is pretty good, so expecting a win for the cup specialists.

4-3 Lazetic and Nisbet with a brace apiece.

0-0 and win on penalties is as positive a spin as I can give it...

Jimmy has taken the media to Codona's for an afternoon out. After baulking at the entry fee, he took them for a walk on the beach and a cup of tea and a rowie at the Inversnecky cafe instead.

He said he respects the fans' emotions and that the team need more intensity or something. Just the usual pre-match tripe, really.

              1-0. Uninspired but through. 🤞

An Ebbe-esque 6-5 to the Dandy Dons ...

Oh wait, I forgot my meds this morning.

Still 2 auld mannies in midfield, at least Nilsen isn't one of them.

Some would say "two experienced auld mannies in midfield".

Aouchiche and Keskinin suffer from a significant lack of end product. They really need to deliver soon or will have to be replaced

Experience is overrated, how compicated can it be to kick a football around?

Motherwell appear to be dominating the game. A goal must be imminent.
