What tonight has shown is even though we have spent a lot of money in the last few years the majority of that squad is not good enough, certainly not mentality wise anyway.
Theyre nowhere near good enough technically either.

Weve spent a lot in scottish terms, not in european terms.

All this shows you is 500k-1m pounds sterling gets you pretty much fuuck all at this level.

Doesnt really seem to differentiate you much in Scotland either if we are honest.

EDIT: And now you cant edit a post on this abysmal website without it disappearing & you getting thrown out. Absolute joke this place these days.

well well, I have no idea where my optimism came from going into that one.
But like I and others have said I don't really care how we get on in this European distraction as long as we are not an embarrassment
That last night was a total embarrassment all over the place on and off the park, starting with the way Thelin lined us up against what is obviously a quality side.
I have been in and out of the Thelin out camp as that is the effect this guy has on the fans.
But he is nit really doing much to endear himself to the serious out campaigners and to be honest I can understand all the frustration.
There is a helluva lot things Thelin got worng last night but bringing on fcukin Yengi when you are 4-0 down and getting humped all over the park and merely trying to grab a consolation and restore a wee bit of the pride that has been well and truly shattered was a complete fkn joke. was that just his sick way of saying fk you to us all I am the manager and I will decide.
He has had very many sackable offences during his relatively short tenure and getting away with them all.

We surely have to go with two up front and tr something different in the league, Lazetic and Nisbet should be starting then build around them to play as a team to their strengths, but there is fk all chance of Thelin ever thinking about that

I can't see us taking fk all from Sunday's game and if Jensen starts and Yengi is anywhere near the bench never mind the park Jimmy should get his P45 at full time.

Oh and Mitov needs to be benched

I read a comment on another forum last night which said that was not an Aberdeen fc performance.

          Unfortunately it is these days.

Last nights result means that for the 4th season in a row we have been destroyed 6-0 by someone (Hibs22/23, Celtic23/24, Celtic24/25).

Jimmy Thelin has to take a huge chunk of the blame for last night and ultimately it will cost him his job if we keep losing, but I just fear that whoever replaces him is already set up to fail because of the way the club is run.

Maybe this German guy who is rumoured to be coming in as the football director will run the club better than it has been so managers can succeed.

Is someone who was thrown in jail for match fixing and stole a penguin from a zoo the right man to run the club?

I hope he is but I have my doubts.

We get doings like this and suffer defeat after defeat whilst winning very few match because we are run by unprofessional football people.
We are a LAZY football club. We do not work hard enough on improving our product on the pitch and that product is why we go and watch football. I could not give one hoot about how many season ticket sales, club record profits etc we make. All I want to see is how we perform on match days.
Get rid of all these pretenders at the club and get real hard working football people in. Our standard of football is progressively getting worse as the seasons pass by. We are signing diddy players and making them out to be far better than they really are.
Cormack might well be good for our club business model side by he is miles off it for having professional standards where it really matters regarding the football side of our club.
Maybe him and his cohorts should be looking to step aside or be preparing themselves for big changes. This cannot keep continuing.

As for this German guy coming in. If he had any input whatsoever into the appointment of arguably one of the worst managers in the history of Aberdeen football club then I would much prefer the appointment of David Weir (as be hinted by a few).

Bottom of the league again. Nothing positive to say about last night. A shower of absolute sh ite. That lesson will have hurt our powderpuffs confidence as well as tiring them out so look forward to another pumping on Sunday.
Thelin is so out of his depth and he is getting found out time and again. If we are not bottom again over the next couple of weeks I will be astounded.

You say this cannot keep continuing mate.
                  Lets be realistic here.
It will keep continuing and i think sadly we all know that 🤦*♂️

I was having a look at the league table this morning and, looking on the bright side, at least the mighty Shamrock Rovers (and Shelbourbe) aren’t that far ahead of us!

In all honesty, I really fear that we will end up on zero points and 36th out of 36 teams. That would be truly unbelievable.

I think we will get at least 3 points. Maybe 6. Not 12.
