Great to see us play with proper wingers again, this will help with the atmosphere at Oakwell I'm sure rather than the constant passes across the back 3 of the last two seasons. Plenty of strong central midfield options until we presumably sell a couple.

I reckon my Dad (SBRed) would have been pleased with the performance at Plymouth and with Hourihane in charge. Having said that he'd probably go for something like a 1-1 draw prediction for the Burton game. Incidentally it was his birthday today. It's been hard not talking through goings on at Oakwell with him this summer. Sure he would have had plenty to say on events at Hillsborough too! haha.

Great to hear from you Busan , your dad is greatly missed by us all and this board will never be the same again without him and his old sidekick Roma along with Exiletyke irritating Roma to deeth .

I think most of us know in our hearts there's a huge hole on this board and it can never be filled .

It of course pales in to insignificance at the side of losing your dad .

He would have been the first to keep everyone's feet on the ground after last Saturdays good win and his usual " let's see where we are after 10 games " .

That's so true about the 10 games! He always said the league settles after 10 games.

Thank you for the messages, very nice to read He loved speaking with you all on this messageboard. Still doesn't feel real to be honest. I moved my season ticket along one seat so I'll be in his from now on. My wife joins sporadically when I can convince her.

I'm on a summer work attachment down in London (which has worked nicely for our away fixtures) before I'm back up home in October but making it for the Bolton and Huddersfield home games. Looking forward to it!
