  • Tom is back in Town

Let's be honest McGoldrick and Bradshaw up front in League 1 level is a good option.

Let's hope we have got a good deal for DKD - Phillips can also support the front 2

Let's try and keep positive and see where the games in hand tale us.

I’m not having that chop! 5 million tag we put on DKD and accepted 2 million some of which goes to Mansfield, once again they bent at the first hurdle! Good luck to DKD who wouldn’t want to go to an ambitious club rather than stay on a sinking ship?
What grates with me is replacing him with a 33 year old, injury prone striker who wasn’t that good the first time around.
We now have 2 strikers with a combined age of 71 with nobody else to come in when either is injured, believe me from now until the end of the season Bradshaw will be in the physio’s room more than he’s on the pitch.
Hopefully we can bring back Watters, Dallas or Jalo as cover cos we can’t sign anyone now! It’s so short sighted.
For me the only thing they have done with Bradshaw signing as a replacement for DKD is ensure attendances drop immediately and lose season ticket holders next season.
As for Connor, it seems to me that if you are Irish or I’ve played with you I’ll give you a job at Oakwell, it’s beyond ridiculous, they won’t see me or mine again wasting money watching them and buying shirts, I’ve just had enough now of their total lack of ambition and taking fans for idiots!

In my opinion bringing on loan Bradshaw in to replace DKD is massively underwhelming .

I sincerely feel for those still attending down at Oakwell .

I liked Bradshaw when he was here last time and if Cleary can keep on creating the chances he has done, he should score some goals. I know it was only one game on Saturday but Banks looked like he might be able to create some chances too. We have been crying out for a poacher type striker all season in my opinion.

However, Bradshaw would have been a good signing had we somehow kept DKD or replaced him with another. I’m not saying going out and spend all of the money we got in for DKD but surely there needed to be some investment? All these games we have to play in this month and the next and we are doing so with McGoldrick and Bradshaw aa our central striker options. Both should get goals at this level but it feels like it will be asking a lot for them to play every Saturday/Tuesday game, particularly McGoldrick.

I have said for a while that I thought DKD would go so have been ready for it but was still absolutely gutted seeing him sign for Wrexham. His goals and work rate will be tough to replace, that is for sure.

It's beyond short sighted. You saw against Stevenage how good McGoldrick can be with a strike partner! But we can't play these 2 together because they are all we have up front, Conor has said Farrell isn't ready but they still send Jalo out on loan and then bring in Bradshaw who is 33 and will need to get up to speed.
Didzy will be on his own tonight up front with Bradshaw replacing him for 20-25 minutes cos it hasn't worked, and that won't change anything cos Bradshaw doesn't play as a lone striker either. We have struggled all season with the low block that Northampton will bring tonight.
It's ok saying that Cleary and Banks might provide tap in's for them but those 2 won't play every game, you could see Cleary was burned out against Cardiff so what do we do when he's out? Or Banks is needed to be rested, Lennon isn't ready and the new lad from Wolves is untested.
I would have preferred Cleary to be sold rather than DKD at least we would have got more money and have options to replace him!
We will see tonight but it does not look good!

If it is only 2 million for DKD Perky then I can understand your annoyance.

I stopped going a few years ago due to Chien and Conman.

We are are a smaller team than Wrexham now as much as it hurts me to say it. Less than 10,000 at Oakwell last Saturday.

I always remember when we have 2 good goalkeepers for many years fighting for the No1 spot now last 2 seasons a loanee between the sticks, and we had good striker options up front - said to a mate earlier today combined age now of McG and Tom over 70 unbelievable Jeff.

3 points tonight please lads to cheer us up!

Nothing at the club could make me angry anymore because unfortunately I'm well past that these days and I'm completely detached from the club , to be honest I'm completely detached from modern football as a spectacle .

However the sale of DKD and his supposed replacement did make me angry , it made me angry because my thoughts were towards those supporters of ours who are still parting with their hard earned cash and attending games .

Just how much more can you kick these fans in the stomach ? , the sale of DKD isn't the problem , enough us on here know what we are and what we will always be , a selling club .

The replacement is another matter altogether , that's just a short sighted signing and stinks of absolutely no plan what so ever .

By all means sell DKD but ffs replace him with a younger kid with potential and develop him so that he may well have a good fee in him in 18 months time .

This is how we used to operate , when Bradshaw left in 2018 he was replaced by Cauley Woodrow , when Pinnock went he was replaced by Mads Andersen .

There is no plan today , it's just made up shyte and it will be the HC who no doubt pays the price while those behind the scenes will carry on fecking the club up even more .

Tell you now we will see league two if this shyteshow continues , it's inevitable and only a question of when and not if .
