Legends

[Shadrack the Red]

Legend is a title fans dish out for players , ex players and people associated to their club for service, devotion and many other reasons, I got to thinking which five players and ex players would I list as my choices of legends at BFC and here they are :
Norman Rimmington
Eric Winstanly
Mick McCarthy
Ronnie Glavin
Adam Hammil
It would be interesting to see other fans choices , personally as well as my " legends " list I have many players I hold in high esteem but who deserves to be branded a legend at our club ? Please keep it to your all time top five .

I agree Shad that the term legend is a very overused term these days and so as harsh as it may seem given the quality of players we've seen over the years I have only two .

The reason I've chosen these two greats are based on a number of things , the amount of years they played for us , obviously their ability but most of all the sheer impact they had on this club and the memories they gave us during their time at Oakwell .

Surely Animal Rimmo gave 80% of his lifetime to service for our club , started as a player and then went on to do every conceivable job possible at our club , in legend terms he surely is the beacon that shines the brightest , but hey ho the thread is to invite peoples opinions, I am hoping that someone comes up with a name I had totally forgotten lol
