As predicted the owners of this club have parted company with Conor, I said some weeks ago that they would sack him when season tickets went on sale, the armchair fire stick brigade have once again won the day , rinse and repeat , the quality of the squad gets poorer every season and the HC gets the blame , it is a deflection from the owners as they continue with their managed decline, not long ago Conor told everyone a few home truths that didn"t go down well but he was telling the truth , he should have been applauded not chastised . Conor has made mistakes but he was green and learning a new trade and in my opinion we should have bucked the trend and for once show some backbone and allow a HC time to build a team like Lincoln have for example but no they have buckled under pressure . I wish you well Conor , you have been well and true shafted .

You can't make comments Hourihane made on Radio Sheffield after the defeat by Doncaster Rovers whilst achieving a pretty mediocre win / lose game ratio and expect to keep your job .
A better HC could have got way more out of this group then we've witnessed this season , I'm not suggesting promotion by any means but definitely more points on the board and be in with a sniff of 6th place .
Across the fanbase whether they attend or not there aren't many losing too much sleep over Hourihane going .

I didn"t say he had done a great job , my point is at some point we have to make a choice and actually back him, all they do is set a manager on every season and feed him with a weaker squad than the previous incumbent , I said that Hourihane is learning his trade , he is a rookie manager and has made mistakes , he frustrates me but mark my words whilst we are run by these owners we are going only one way , it is season ticket sale time again consequently they are trying to drum up some support one way or another and deflect from their incompetence.Originally posted by animallittle3 View PostYou can't make comments Hourihane made on Radio Sheffield after the defeat by Doncaster Rovers whilst achieving a pretty mediocre win / lose game ratio and expect to keep your job .
