  • Paul Conway Locked Up.

    By BVM Sportsdesk, 14h ago
Paul Conway, a U.S. soccer investor and co-owner of Pacific Media Group, is fighting extradition from a Barcelona prison amidst allegations of fraud connected to the bankruptcy of Belgian club KV Oostende in 2024. Conway, who has denied any wrongdoing, was arrested on May 20, 2025, after being targeted by a European Arrest Warrant issued by Belgian authorities. The case stems from irregularities surrounding a player transfer and other dealings that have raised suspicions about financial misconduct while Conway was involved with the club. His family claims the situation has become a “nightmare” and criticizes the lack of investigation into local Belgian management. As Conway faces ongoing legal battles, the implications for American investors navigating European soccer finance remain uncertain.

He wants locking up if only for his disastrous stewardship , if he had not moved on I fear we would now have the padlocks on the gates , it sounds like that his dubious practices have finally caught up with him , I will watch with interest to see how this develops .

His sentence should include being locked up in a cage outside Barnsley FC and other clubs he has abused on matchdays.

Yeah with some naan bread and pillow rice. 😁

This couldn't happen to a more deserving man, but what about Chien Lee.
Was everything he did, always legal and above board then ?.
Even if it was maybe morally questionable, regarding the well being of a number of footy clubs!.
