  • Sormaz Gone

Full statement on website and article in Yorkshire post.

No loss in my opinion, no idea what he has achieved. But all the best for the future.

    Recruit well BFC.

I didn"t see that coming !!! I am not sure what has gone off but a replacement is required asap with planning for the january window to be up and running , no doubt it will all come out in the wash but already I have seen some outrageous speculation on social media with the key board warriors having a field day !!

Timing of it has come as a shock.

Obviously none of us know what his day to day work looks like and how we can judge him on that. We can judge him on the transfer windows though and they’ve mostly been a disaster, especially last season (minus DKD).

The “gardening leave” slightly worries me in terms of us getting a replacement in. I’d hope we would be getting someone in ASAP so they’re prepared for January but if we are still paying Sormaz, surely we wouldn’t want to effectively be paying 2 wages for the next few months? I guess we will soon see.

His replacement might already be on the payroll Nerth , I am not ITK just throwing out a possibility , we will see what develops.

I don't think he's done a particularly good job but the biggest problem on Grove Street is that there is no stability and a revolving door culture whether that be HC's , CEO's or Sporting Directors , you could even argue people fall in and then out of the ownership consortium .

Not a cat in hells chance you'll be successful with instability and drama going on year in and year out .
