I'd imagine he can do better than us Perky , I don't think our stock is too good these days .

The thing is are we actually looking to strengthen at the back ? , Roberts is supposed to be back after this international break plus we signed the lad from Derby who is currently bench warming as is the french lad , now do not get me wrong as I think our central defence is awful and Lockyear would improve us but do Connor and the suits at Oakwell believe that another centre back , another wage is our priority ? another option or two up front would be top of my shopping list but to be honest I think signing a free agent or two might be on the back burner until january , recruitment although improved last summer still left an in balanced squad and sold Conor short , I think there are obvious players who they will hope to move on and free up wages to enable strengthening but I think it will be january before anything happens. We will see!!

Sounds like he?s training with Bristol Rovers at the minute.

As said above, I think we have enough numbers in defence. Not saying they?re any good but we at least have options. Unlike up front.
