The club is now in administration after a prolonged period of financial and ownership crisis. There is certainly going to be plenty of work for the IFR (Independent Football Regulator) to be getting on with in the coming weeks or months. I only hope that Alan Pace?s pronouncements on Burnley FC?s financial health are correct.

Not snide at all BT. Many posters have worried about the levels of debt in Burnley’s accounts. I like Alan Pace but I sure as hell don’t like borrowing.

It seems he's borrowing up to his neck again in Spain. The cash in Spain had better not end up down the drain.

There's some serious Wonga in our squad and RCDE is not too shabby either. Perhaps Mr Pace knows what he's doing after all.

I hope, for your sake BT, that Mr Pace doesn't vote for Mister Trump because he would certainly come under your scrutiny as being a persona non grata.

Just a bit history for you mon ami, for 4 years Trump was POTUS and Mr Pace was happily ensconced in the USA, just one month after Biden won the election and became the Autopen President, Mr Pace bought Burnley and jumped ship to the UK. Seems to me he was escaping the Democrat Mafia, not Mr Trump.

He certainly does not seem to want an early bird return back mon ami. Choose to reside in Barcelona or Burnley or a dystopian Hell? Easy choice really.

He's quickly enough jumped ship again, this time to Barcelona, even though he had a Michelin Star restaurant on his doorstep. He seems a very pleasant, religious family man, but quite honestly mon ami, I wouldn't like to cross him.

Despite the initial pessimism when he took over, here we are back in the EPL and still not gone flat broke.

I don't think you can get to where Mr Pace has got by being Mr Nice Guy all the time.
