As the table stands we have beaten the side currently third (Sunderland) but lost to those placed 4,5,6,7 & 8. Four of those losses were however away from home and the home loss to Liverpool was cruel. We have back to back wins and 10 points is a reasonable return from our first 9 fixtures. Anything from the Arsenal game would be a massive bonus.

We must do better than we did 2nd half as we didn't look cohesive, and like Army says Parkers tactics come into question

Foster looked isolated and then from know where we produced an unlikely winner. Well done to Hannabel who supplied the assist which was an inch perfect pass
WTF are you talking about? He went 5-3-2 with Flemming and Foster playing together up top. FFS!

God love you barrie , and ill take the result without doubt,

Cant lie about what I watched though - many will and gloss over the facts and say we were good but unfortunately ParkerÂ’s tactics were poor and we got away with one.

Tell me you think differently and IÂ’ll listen to your argument

We may as well have played with 9 men as our wide men offered. Nothing

Going 5-3-2 sort of negates the wide men army88. I thought you would know that.

Please remind me of the final score.

                We won 3-2.

Agree, we changed to a 532 when Foster came on. I see what I saw, and Foster looked isolated has did Flemming going into the last 20. The goal came out of the blue with us playing for a point

                    We won 3-2.
Please dont insult my intelligence we started well and got 2 up - we then played like muppets and invited them in and gave them 2 goals back - parker then set up to-defend as he does and the rest is history.

You obviously watch a different game to me and ballcock where we told the truth about what really happend.

The goal to win it was a moment of genious where Hannibal ( who everyone slags off ) played a sublime pass into the ever willing Foster who finished brilliantly.( who everyone slags off )

3-5-2 - 442 or any formation you like I never lie win lose or draw about how we play/ played - you however watch different games to some of us.

Must be a few eggs being wiped off faces tonight.

Flemming can't play as a No. 9, striker or centre-forward (or whatever they're called these days).

Hannibal is a liability, shouldn't be near a Burnley shirt.

Foster is clueless, not much better than a pub footballer.

Parker got it all wrong yet again, sitting back, inviting them on and playing for a draw from the 46th minute. How to lose a game of football in one easy lesson.

Not everyone Army. Only Foster could have scored that goal, the rest of the forwards are too slow like our build up.
A great win against a mediocre team but let's not delude ourselves, some of our players are not up to it. Absolutely nothing from the wings. As I have said before putting Koleosho out for the season was a big mistake.

Wolves were fighting for their lives, what do some muppets expect they would just roll over and have their tummies tickled?

The first goal was a thing of esoteric beauty, a 60 yard diagonal pin point cross that was steered home with a gossamer like first touch.

A fantastic goal in every sense of the word.

Fair play to Foster too, no panic, a lovely first touch and a match winner to boot.

And still we have moaners. I'm at a loss.

It worries me that anthony and larsen were are so non caring about teams delivering ball into dangerous areas / 18 yard box like its a kick about in townley park irrespective of contributing going forwards.

Wolves are struggling and we got ourselves into a good position - but it didnt take them long to work out we offered nothing over the top amd down the sides so they pushed 20-30 yards and let their centre backs play in our half condensed the play to our 18 yard box basically where parker decided a point was enough.
Parker for me has to work out a way of playing that doesnt allow teams to do that to us starting with players that start and formation some are maybe a bit comfortable ( Anthony ) and others shouldnt start ( Larsen ) play the strongest 11 and give floerntino Ugo and cullen a chance to influence the game instead of fighting fires all the time where the opposition see opportunities in spaces to exploit us ( its really not that hard if me and you and ballcock can see it ).

Fleming is a good honest footballer but mot quick enough unless he has someone with him with pace - better teams will exploit these weaknesses and punish us.

Thats not slagging off our players by the way as im sure they all try - parkers tactics invote teams on to us wjich is fine if your quick in transition with pace to hurt teams.

                              The answer is pretty obvious.

We have two top class full backs who can both play at international level and can bomb forward and play long diagonal balls to open teams up.

We glimpsed the future yesterday: go 5-3-2 and play Flemming and Foster up top together.

Cullen, Big Les and Luis can take any team on in midfield.

Walker, Tuanzebe, Esteve, Ekdal & Hartman back five and Mr Reliable between the sticks.

And still have a bench packed with options.

And anybody who still says Flemming is not EPL quality had better ring the Wolves defence and ask what they think.

"The first goal was a thing of esoteric beauty, a 60 yard diagonal pin point cross that was steered home with a gossamer like first touch.

I thought that perhaps for the first time this season -and not before time- we had just a little luck on our side. And that really was only the one slice when a free kick from Arias cannoned off the crossbar struck Dubravka but did not end up in the net. Otherwise there were some brilliant moments. The magnificent diagonal ball from Hartman that Fleming cushioned first time into the corner of the goal. A superb sprinting recovery from Walker that snuffed out a 2 on 1 Wolves break. For the winning goal Wolves had 8 players squeezed up near the touch line and when they lost possession Hannibal saw the opportunity to slide Foster through. The save from Dubravka at the very end to deny Wolves a last gasp equaliser was top drawer as the ball had gone past him. If anything surprised me it was maybe that Tchaouna wasn?t brought on. I usually say at the start of every season wait 10 games and then assess where you are. How we perform at home to Arsenal will tell us quite a bit more about Scott Parker the team and life in the EPL this season.
