West Ham defeat was down to 2 things.

    1. 1st half when on top and having all the possession, we didn't take enough risks to kill the game off when we went 1 up.

    2. Dubravka let the team down with those goal keeping errors

Chelsea home nex. Like Sunderland did against Arsenal, its time to give it a real go

Parker needs to do away with the wingers and let Hannibal and Edwards roam free and we need to get a grip on the opposition wingers. Cullen letting Jimmy Summerville into the six yard box with the ball at his feet was not a great idea either.

Throw caution to the wind and let it flow.

Anthony needs dropping in my opinion. He has gone completely missing in the last few games.

Said it for the last month CIB hes too comfortable - name on team sheet before weve started , Parker is struggling to work out how we cant commit people with wide men who have the pace or the inclination to commit a man - i got *******ised on here for saying have a go at teams and west ham are weak at the moment and we rolled over again

BT says hes impressed with our bench and i agree because some of them should be playing in front of starters.

Im still in the-camp that Parker is negative though - we loaned out the man with anybreal pace so consequently we now have 3 decent central players that get dragged out of position covering holes in behind the in effective so called wide men.

Fleming is a handfull and a very decent player but overall we look weaker without fosters energy and movement ( thell slag me off for that as well - foster lover ).

Foster has always needed a partner imo and I’ve posted many times about it - but fleming might be it - we are lethargic in build up play and consequently get pushed back too deep to defend the 18 yard box.

Were in a bit of a rut for me as unless Anthony gets a kick up the arse and told to do his job and loum ( whom i believe can be good but he’s a young man finding his feet at this level)

The way im looking at it at the minute is let Fleming compete and play foster in the channels with him - it doesn’t matter about who plays wide if they’re not contributing anyway - get the ball up ( Dyche like maybe ) and we’ll build from their third

I would seriously look at playing Foster on the left in place of Anthony, a bit like Cotterell did with Jay Rod years ago

I like the idea of this, Foster runs his socks off and is a much better finisher than Anthony. Would help Flemming out and be another target for Hartman.

I don't know why SP is pissed off, he picks the team. It was obvious imo that Anthony and Larsen were not fast or clever enough to beat PL wing backs. Many have said Hannibal should always be starting and I think Foster should too. As I have said before why is it always better to play the ball square or backwards to keep possession rather than towards a player who has to fight for possession but in a more dangerous area. It is not a game of perfect. Lots of goals are scored from deflections.

Take the hand brake off and let the lads play. I believe they are good enough. Believe#

The problem on here mnhrt is it’s just all our opinions in the real world it’s Parker’s decisions as you rightly say.

The question is - is he disappointed because the players didnt deliver what he asked of them or is it because he gotbot wrong and he’s annoyed at himself.

They are all only our opinions and none of us have Uefa A coaching badges as far as im aware anyway so we cant argue the facts.

It is frustrating though as I like you and many others know we have players starting who shouldn’t be in our opinion

We’ll be a better side with Hannibal and foster starting is all I know.

Ballcock s idea isn’t bad tbh but I think I’d like foster up top with Fleming especially against teams around us and let’s make them uncomfortable instead of us.

Another thing I find puzzling. Flemming hit a rocket against Norwich last season, Tchoua?? likewise against Leeds. I don't think I've seen any shot resembling those shots from either player since. Why not? Surely it's an option worth trying now and then, as opposed to trying to get through 10 man defence packed into the penalty area.

For me anyway loum should nt have been dropped after the Leeds game - he came on was willing to go at them and scored a worldy - parker in his wisdom though dropped him again to the bench ( imagine his thoughts at that ).
Anthony as I’ve said numerous times is way too comfortable and gets selected ( i believe ) regardless of his contribution - interestingly it would be a good exercise to see how much - many times Anthony - and Larsen have offered wide to go past a man in the last 6 games - I haven’t counted but I think from what I watch it won’t be many.

So I don’t know if they’re told to stay in a defensive structure or if they’re in capable or not quick enough to worry full backs etc - but if it’s not very many we’re carrying players again at the highest level of football.

I also say that Anthony and JBL are good players but are we getting what’s required is the question.

Anthony had a great start to the season but maybe could do with a rest from the starting line up. Foster and Flemming to start together?
