  • Money matters.

This makes for painful reading. We really cannot afford to be relegated in the coming season.

Life has certainly been more of a rollercoaster for Clarets fans since Alan Pace took over the club in December 2020, when his company ALK C...

We'll just cut our cloth accordingly, like we did last summer. What presents the biggest risk is not being promoted again immediately after. Then you have to cut further and you become an average championship club.

Yo-Yo-ing is not great for squad stability but what can you do. I do have some faith that brentford and wolves could be dragged in with the promoted three.

      Nothing we didn't know.
We all know that our main revenue streams are from broadcasting, and that if we don't bounce back after relegation, there is every chance that the sh!t will hit the fan

ALK’s strategy has been to bring in players, develop them and sell them on at a profit.

That has to start producing if the club is to be financially. Sadly, VK’s splurge is not producing those results at the moment and there is still a bloated squad. There is still time in the window and a lot can happen. Apart from Trafford and Est?ve there is very little speculation about others in the squad.

In the meantime, the numbers for the likes of Liverpool and City are staggering. All this renders the PL almost meaningless as a competition. The Champions will be one of the big boys, then there will be the middle group of established teams, followed by the relegation candidates, with us as one of the favourites.

When you read that through slowly and digest it, it's a horror story, yet some fans still think ALK and Mr Pace have been good for us.

That is exactly what I was thinking as I read the article Sinky.30m to other group companies sounds dodgy.12.75% interest on a loan-that is unsustainable in my humble opinion.Sooner or later it will all catch up.

A Premier League club is always a saleable item, perhaps that was the aim all along. Thing is ALK keep paying the bills and have just conjured up around 150 million quid to buy Espanyol, somehow I get the impression they know what they are doing.
