Wish I could have a different opinion, I really really do.

But as it stands we haven't an earthly of staying up. We have absolutely nothing up front for this level. I dont see where the goals are coming from to keep us up?

Said it before.... Foster is useless, Barnes is finished and Flemming is decent but isn't really a striker.

Further to that, were weak in the middle of the park. With Brownhill gone, we have no one who is going to chip in a few from midfield, and lack premiership level steel to take control of games.

I would say we still need at least another 3 or even 4 through the door to have any chance.

    2x strikers
    1x attacking midfielder
    1x defensive midfielder.

I’m going to believe we have a chance of surviving because we will be hard to beat. Catch the opposition on the break and accumulate 35 points and we have a chance of staying up. You might not believe me saying this but I think Foster may prove everybody wrong and he will start firing. He is fully fit, head reportedly OK, let’s hope Der Kaiser was right about him all along.

Ditto Alf, every time I suggested we need a prolific striker BT said we've got Foster, his worse critic, can't understand his change of view unless he's fishing?

I honestly don't think a prolific goal scorer is essential. Priority is being solid at the back and having a strong midfield that is capable of hitting sides on the break

Methinks you are a bit naive sir ballcock, we need a ruthless bang it in the net seasoned goalscorer otherwise we are FCKD

Win 10, draw 8, lose 20 and we stay up. Simples.

                        Obviously home and away:

                        Liverpool
                        Arsenal
                        Man City
                        Chelsea
                        Newcastle

                        Can I wake up?

That also means that, if we draw 38 matches 0-0, we will have the same number of points as your equation.
We kept 29 clean sheets last season so it just requires a little more effort to get these results.

I believe we can muster 38 points and it seems so do our players.
